Backing Up Offline Data

Applies To: Hitachi NAS (VSP One File) and Celerra FileMover

Use this option to include the original archived files in the backup instead of the stubs created during the archive operation.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, go to client > NDMP > defaultBackupSet.

2. In the right pane, right-click the subclient, and then click Backup.

   The Backup Options dialog box appears.

3. On the Backup Options tab, click Advanced.

   The Advanced Backup Options dialog box appears.

4. On NAS Options tab, select the Back up offline data check box, and then click OK.

5. Select the backup type and schedule.

6. Click OK.
