Backup Operations for Azure File Share

You can back up the data in Azure File Share and restore when required.

Backup Types

The following backup types are available for Azure File Share data:

• Full

• Incremental

• Synthetic full

Data You Cannot Back Up

• Files and folders without a name.

• Files and folders that contain a forward slash ("/") in their names.

• NFS file shares in an Azure premium storage account because NFS file shares do not support REST APIs.
