Use this tab to select a MediaAgent that will function as the index server for your backup set. The index server performs indexing operations such as backup, browse, find, and restore.
If you configure content indexing, this index server also performs content indexing operations.
Note
You can only select an index server MediaAgent from enabled data paths in the primary copy of the storage policy.
