You can collect data about query performance for queries running on the CommServe database using predefined workflows in the CommCell Console. After the data is collected, you can analyze it to troubleshoot problems. Use the Diagnostic WIA Tracer Setup workflow to configure and start the Who Is Active (WIA) Tracer job or use the Diagnostic Monitors for SQL Server workflow to enable SQL extended events to capture diagnostic information about TempDb growth, blocking, or stored procedure statistics. You can use the Diagnostic WIA Tracer / TroubleShooting Database Refresh workflow to refresh or upgrade the WIA Tracer and troubleshooting database with the latest fixes and the new features available in the current Commvault software released.
