Configuring Access to the Replicated Mount Path

Configure a MediaAgent with read-only access to the replicated data.

Before You Begin

• Ensure that data is replicated from the source cloud library to the destination cloud storage location.

• Ensure that the Update cloud library credential to selected device controller only parameter is enabled in Media Management Configuration: Service Configuration.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand to Storage Resources > Libraries > library.

2. Right-click the mount path that you want to share with another MediaAgent, and then click Share Mount Path.

3. Click Share.

4. Select the MediaAgent that you wish to share the mount path with read only access, and then click OK.

   The Share Mount Path dialog box appears.

5. Select the MediaAgent that you selected in the previous step, and then click Edit.

   The Edit Cloud Storage dialog box appears.

6. In the General tab, modify the Access Information as necessary so that the replica mount path is referenced, and then click OK.

7. Click OK to save the changes.
