Configuring the Default Protocol to Connect with the NetApp Servers

You can use the sNETAPPONTAPUSEADMINTRANSPORT additional setting to change the protocol for connections to NetApp file server and OCUM server.

By default, for IntelliSnap operations and management operations, the connection to NetApp file server and OCUM server uses the HTTP protocol. If communication with the HTTP protocol fails, then the HTTPS protocol can be used. This is helpful in scenarios where the HTTP protocol is disabled on the file server.

Procedure
