Deleting a Client Using the Command Line Interface

You can delete a client computer from your CommCell environment.

Before You Begin

• Release the license for the client.

Procedure

1. Download the delete_client_template.xml file to the computer from where you will run the command.

2. Run the qlogin command to log on to the CommServe computer.

3. From software_installation_directory/Base type the following command to delete the client:

    
   qoperation execute -af delete_client_template.xml -clientName 'client_name'

   where client_name is the name of the client you want to delete.
