A backup copy operation copies snapshots of the data to another media.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Policies > Storage Policies > storage policy.

Right-click a storage policy, and then click Properties.
The Storage Policy Properties dialog box appears.

On the Snapshot tab, select the Enable Backup Copy check box.

Click OK.
