When the SAP HANA Lifecycle Manager application enables external pruning of backup files, by default, the SAP HANA agent does not honor the pruning request and does not invoke the backint -delete command for data aging.
You can enable the agent to honor the pruning request and invoke the backint -delete command using an additional setting.
Procedure

To the SAP HANA client computer computer, add the nBACKINTDELETEENTRY additional setting as shown in the following table.
