Enabling Notifications After Jobs Complete

You can configure an alert to send email notifications when backup, restore, and software installation jobs complete.

Before You Begin

Your CommCell user account must be assigned to a role that has the Create Alert permission at CommCell level.

Procedure

When you configure the job, perform the following steps to send an email notification when the job completes:

  1. On the job Options dialog box, click the Job Initiation tab.

  2. In the Job Initiation section, select the Immediate check box.

  3. Under Run this job now, click Notify user on job completion.

  4. Click OK.
