You must configure an F-Policy proxy computer.
Procedure

Create the EnableCModeFeature additional setting on the proxy computer. For more information on adding the additional setting, see Add or Modify an Additional Setting.

Restart services on your proxy computer.
The proxy computer is automatically registered to the file server.
Important:

By default, proxy computer uses HTTP protocol port 80 to connect to the NetApp file server. To use a different port number, create the FilerHttpPort additional setting on the proxy computer.

By default, the proxy computer uses listener port 10200 to connect to the NetApp file server. To use a different listener port number, create the FPOLICY_CMODE_PROXYPORT_VALUE additional setting on the proxy computer.

To overcome possible issues with connecting to the NetApp file server, ensure that the network firewall allows all IPs of a Vserver including management IP to communicate with proxy port 10200 for F-Policy NetApp archiving.
