Getting started with protecting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) File Storage data includes installing Linux file system agent, configuring a storage device, a storage policy, creating a network share client and then performing a test backup and restore.
Procedure
-
Verify that your environment meets the system requirements for the Unix/Linux proxy client.
-
Install the Linux File System Agent on an OCI instance or on an on-premise Linux computer.
-
(Optional) Mount the OCI File Storage NFS export to back it up.
-
To mount the NFS export on the Linux computer, you can use the mount path.
-
To skip mounting the OCI File Storage export manually, use the automount feature.
