Implementing Certificate-Based Authentication for CommCell Console

You can configure the CommCell Console to require certificate-based communication by following these steps.

Procedure

To set the password for the certificate, from the command prompt, navigate to software_installation_directory/Base.
Run the following command to set the certificate password on the CommServe database:
```
qoperation execscript -sn QS_SetCommcellConsoleServerCertificatePassword.sql -si PlainPassword
```
Replace with the desired plain text password.
Locate the certificate file to be used for authentication.

Ensure the certificate is in the p12 format.
Copy the certificate file to the following directory:
```
Software_Installation_Directory/Base/Certificates
```
Rename the certificate file to EvMgrsCertificate.p12, if it has a different name.
Restart the services on the CommServe computer.
