Use this dialog box to specify the manual retention end time of the selected job.
Important: The retention time specified here, applies only to the selected job and does not apply to any dependent jobs. Therefore, you might not be able to restore the data available in the dependent backup jobs. For example, if you select an incremental backup for manual retention, then any associated full backups will not be retained for the extended period.

Retain Until
If selected, this job will not be aged until the day specified. Note that if the date specified in this field falls before the date specified in the retention rules, the retention rules will have to be met before this job is aged.

Add [ ] days to the retain until date
Specifies the number days you want to retain the job from the date specified in Retain Until option.
For example, if April 30 2015 date appears in the Retain Until, and you specified the value as 10 days for Add [ ] days to the retain until datethe expiration date for the job must appear as May 10 2015.
Range: 1 to 4999 days.
