Use this dialog box to create a new MySQL Server instance to the system.
Server Name
Displays the name of the MySQL Server. Use this space to change this name.
NT UserName\Unix UserName
Displays the user name of the local machine. Use this space to change this name.
SA User Name
Displays the name of the database administrator who has permissions to perform jobs. Use this space to change this name.
Account Password
Displays the password for the SA User Name. Use this space to change this password.
Confirm Password
Retype the Account Password to confirm it.
Binary Directory
Displays the path of the binary directory for the instance. This directory contains MySQL binaries. Click Browse to change this path.
Log Data Directory
Displays the path of the binary logs location. If binary log is disabled on the MySQL server, then the path of the data directory is displayed. Click Browse to change this path.
Config File
Displays the path of the configuration file for the instance. Click Browse to change this path.
Port/Socket File
Displays the path of the port (for Windows) or socket file (for UNIX) for the instance. Click Browse to change this path.
Enable hot backup
Select this check box to enable XtraBackup or Enterprise backup on the MySQL instance.
XtraBackup
For UNIX clients, select this check box to run MySQL backup operation using XtraBackup utility.
XtraBackup Bin Path
For UNIX clients, click Browse to select the folder that contains XtraBackup binaries.
Enterprise backup
For Linux clients, select this option to run enterprise-grade MySQL backup operations using SBT.
Enterprise backup bin path
For Linux clients, displays the path of the folder that contains the MySQL utility files required to enable enterprise backup. Click Browse to change this path.
No lock
Select this check box to lock the non-InnoDB tables while running MySQL enterprise backups using SBT.
Command Line Backup Storage Policy
Specifies the storage policy to be used in command line backup jobs for the instance.
Log Backup Storage Policy
Specifies the storage policy to be used in transaction log backup jobs for the instance.
