Recover To
Use this wizard to create the response file for the client computer which you want to restore. A response file saves the client configuration, which can be used later for Non-interactive 1-Touch Restore.
Select Recovery Points
This is the first step in the Recover To wizard. In this step you can select the backup data which you want to use to create the response file.
Backup Set
By default, the data and client configuration backed by the defaultBackupSet is used to create the response file.
If you want to use the data and configuration backed up by any other backupset, select the backup set from the list.
Recover from the latest backup and configuration
This option is selected by default. The latest backup data and client configuration is used to create the response file. You can create the response file using a backup performed at a specific point-in-time.
Select Point in Time
Select this option to specify the specific point-in-time. The backup performed at the specific point-in-time will be used to create the response file.
You can specify the point-in-time as follows:
Restore Data Before:
Select a date and specify the time.
Time zone
The default time zone of the CommServe is selected automatically. Select the Time zone if you want to use the backup performed in a different time zone.

Click this button to go to next step.
Review Recovery Options
In this step you can change the client configuration. The response file will be created with modified client configuration.
General tab
Following options are available to modify the client configuration:
Host Name
The host name of the CommServe which is used to backup client.
Client Name
The name of the CommServe Client.
IP Address
Enter the IP Address of the CommServe which is used to backup the client.
Access Token
By default, an access token associated with the user account which you have used to login to CommCell console is populated and will be used to perform the 1-Touch operation. You can create a new access token in the Command Center, and then add the token in the Access Token field.
Configuration Tab
Following options are available to modify the client configuration:
Network Configuration
Displays a list of all Network Interfaces available in the client. Select the interface which you want to use after the restore.
Add
Click this option to add a new Network Interface.
Edit
Click this option to change an existing Network Interface.
Delete
Click this option to delete a Network Interface.
Disk Configuration Tab
The Disk Configuration tab displays a list of volumes available on the client computer. The list has following columns
Volume
Displays the drive letters assigned to the volume.
Disk Name
Displays the name of physical disk associated with the volume.
Capacity
Displays the volume size. Double-click in this column to change the size of any volume.
Selected
Select the check box in this column to select a volume. The selected volume will be added to the client during the 1-Touch restore . You can select only system drives and add the non-system drives later.
Restore Options tab
Following options are available to restore the client configuration:
Copy Precedence
If you want to use the client configuration and data available in a specific storage policy copy, enter copy precedence number for the specific copy.
Do not Use Windows Mini-Setup
Select this check box if you do not want to run the Windows Mini-Setup Wizard. If you are performing a cross hardware restore, the Mini-Setup wizard runs after the Full System Restore.
User Account
If the client computer is member of a domain, click Change to enter the credentials of the domain in which you want to add the client after 1-Touch restore.
License Key
If you are restoring the Windows 2003 client, enter the license key for Windows 2003 operating system.
Advanced tab
You can create a clone of a client computer during 1-Touch restore. This will be useful when you are performing 1-Touch restore on a computer different than the original client computer.
Clone Machine
Select this check box to create the replica of the client computer. The client computer can be a physical computer or a virtual machine.
The clone computer will be a virtual machine.
New Client Name
The clone computer will automatically become the client of the CommServe. Enter the client name for the clone computer.
New Hostname
Enter the hostname for the clone computer.
Use different MediaAgent
Select this check box when you have multiple MediaAgent computers configured in your CommCell environment.
MediaAgent
You can select a different MediaAgent computer than the one used to perform the system state backup. Select a MediaAgent from the drop-down list. The list displays all the MediaAgent computers configured in your CommCell environment.
Client is a MediaAgent
Select this check box when you are performing the 1-Touch recovery of a MediaAgent.
USB drive
This option is selected by default. By default, the index will be restored to the USB drive attached to the computer where you are performing the 1-Touch recovery.
Network Share
Select this option if you want to restore the index to a network location.
User Name
Enter the user name for the user account which will be used to access the network location. This user account must have the following permissions: Administrative management, Out of place Recover, In Place Recover
Password
Enter the password for the user account.
Index cache path
Enter the location where you want to restore the index. Click to specify the location.
Finish
Click this button to generate the response file.
1-Touch Recovery Wizard - Restore Options Page
Using the 1-Touch Recovery wizard, you can specify the disk partitions and configurations.
Disk Mapping Options
Format System Drive
Click this option to format the system drive and then recover the data.
Similar Disk Mapping
Click this option if the source computer and the destination computer have similar hard disk configurations.
Dissimilar Disk Mapping
Click this option if the destination computer has a different disk configuration than the source computer.
