Oracle SBT Parameters for Command Line Restore Scripts

Restore operations can be run from the CommCell Console GUI or by using command line scripts. The following Oracle agent SBT parameters are needed for specific database restores if you are using command line scripts.

  • CvSrcClientName – Use this parameter for cross-machine or duplicate restores.

  • CvSrcOraSID – This parameter is required only when the Oracle instance is discovered or created from the command line and a backup operation has not yet been performed in the CommCell environment.
