Recalling an Archived Message Using Outlook Add-In

Verify that Outlook Add-In is working properly by recalling an archived message. If Outlook Add-In is not installed, you will see a Quick Look button instead of the Download link in archived messages.

Important

  • If you're using Outlook 2016 or later with the Outlook Add-In version 11.38.394 or above, the Download button is replaced by Quick Look.

  • Clicking Quick Look triggers email recall in the background. You'll be prompted to log in to Command Center to view the email. Alternatively, you can double-click the email to initiate recall.

Procedure

  1. Open Outlook, enter your Profile Name if required, and then click OK.

  2. Select an archived message to restore.

  3. In the preview pane, click Download.

    You are asked to either Open or Save the message.

  4. Click Save.

    The recovered message is saved in .msg format.
