Replacing the File with a Stub After Archiving

After an archive operation, you can replace the file with a stub.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > File System > archive_set.

2. Right-click the archiving_subclient, and then click Properties.

   The Subclient Properties dialog box appears.

3. To archive your files based on file size, on the Archiving Rules tab, on the General subtab, complete the following steps:

   1. Select the Enable archiving with these rules check box.

4. Under After Archiving, select Replace the File with a Stub.

5. Click OK.
