You can restore the OCS data and settings due to corruption, failure or disaster.
Before You Begin

Make sure that the subclient is configured to back up the Office Communication Server. For more information, see Configuring Backups of Office Communications Server for Windows File System.

Make sure that you have a successful backup of the Office Communication Server subclient. For more information, see Performing Backups for Subclients.
Procedure

From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > File System > backup_set.

Right-click the appropriate subclient and then click Browse and Restore.

In the Browse and Restore dialog box, click View Content.

In the right pane of the Client Browse window, expand client > backup_set.

Select the OCS data and settings that you want to restore and click Recover all Selected.

In the Restore Options dialog box, click OK.
By default, the selected data or setting will be restored to the source location.
Important: When you perform an out-of-place restore, if the destination client is an Office Communication server, the settings on the destination server are not affected.

Click OK.
Result
Once the restore completes, the Office Communications Server data and settings are restored.
