Applies to: Archives that are in the native format or parquet format
You can restore the data to the source (production) database by using a staging database instead of the archive database.
You can use any of the following databases as the destination:
-
The archive database
-
The production database
-
A database other than the archive or production database
There may be times when all parent tables must be in the restore.
Note
When you have an archive in the parquet format, the number of archived rows that the browse window displays is equal to the rows that match the archive criteria, and any additional rows that are selected as part of the foreign key relationship.
