Setting Up a Host Alias

In order to identify hosts by name rather than by WWPN in a rule, an alias can be specified.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, click Access Management.

2. Under FC Host Mapping, click Add Host.

   The Add FC Host page appears.

3. In the Host box, type the alias for the host.

   The alias can contain characters a-z or A-Z or 0-9.

4. In the WWPN box, type the corresponding WWPN.

   WWPN is specified in the format f0:f1:f2:f3:f4:f5:f6:f7 in lower case.

5. Click Submit.

Result

The alias will be listed under FC Host Mapping.
