You can monitor the health of a CommCell environment using text-based monitoring on a smartphone or other SMS-enabled device.
Before You Begin

The CommCell that you want to monitor must be registered on the Commvault Cloud, and its health data must be regularly uploaded to the Commvault Cloud.

Enable the Cloud Assist feature.
Procedure

On your smartphone or device, text "Start" to +1 415-417-2858.
You will receive a text message, asking you to authorize your Commvault account and associate your phone number with a CommCell environment.

You can use this phone number for CommCell environments inside and outside of the U.S.

Your carrier's standard messaging rates may apply.

Click or tap the link.
A login screen appears.

Enter your Commvault Cloud username and password, and then click or tap Login.
An authorization screen appears.

From the Preferred Commcell list, select the CommCell environment that you want to monitor.

Click or tap the Authorize button.
A message appears, verifying that your Commvault account is now authorized, and that your phone number is now associated with a CommCell environment.

Text message a question or command to +1 415-417-2858.

You will receive text message responses to your questions and commands. You might also be asked if you want details sent to your Commvault Cloud email account.
