Validating Oracle Backup Operations

You can validate backups that have previously been run to ensure the integrity of the data for successful restores.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Client Computers > Oracle client > Oracle > instance.

2. Right-click the subclient, and then click Properties.

   The subclient properties window appears.

3. Click the Advanced tab, and then click the Options tab.

4. In the Common Options area, select the Validate check box.

5. Click OK.
