The Validate Restore option in the CommCell Console provides a reliable way to verify that your backup data is safe and fully recoverable. By confirming that backups are complete and functional, Validate Restore ensures that your Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) can be met with confidence. Use this option to make sure your systems are protected and ready to recover quickly in the event of a failure or data loss.
Note
We recommend that you upgrade the source computer and the destination computer to the latest service pack version.
