A tenant can opt to migrate from one service provider to another service provider or to their own CommCell environment. You can migrate the client computers of the tenant to the new CommCell environment to retain the backup data and history of the client computers.
Procedure
In the CommCell environment of the current service provider, export the metadata of the client computer group of the tenant.

In the CommCell environment of the new service provider or in the tenant CommCell environment, perform the following steps:
Import the metadata of the client computer group of the tenant that you have exported in step 1.
For instructions, see Importing the Metadata to the Destination CommCell Environment.
Apply the certificates manually on the migrated client computers.
For instructions, see Manually Applying Certificate on a Migrated Client.
Register the migrated client computers in the new CommCell environment.
On the Select Client Configuration page, clear the Try to contact Source CommServe check box.

In the CommCell environment of the previous service provider, perform one of the following:
To delete the tenant permanently, see Deleting a Company.
To only disable the activities of the tenant, complete the following steps:
Run the ChangeCSHostNameAfterMigration QScript on the source CommCell environment for all the client computers that you migrated.
Deactivate the activities of the tenant.
