The file server page appears.
In the row for the share, click the action button
, and then click Add 3DFS share.
The Add network share page appears.
Note: You can also add a 3DFS network share from the 3DFS network shares tab. The 3DFS network shares tab appears if shares are already configured for the file server.
Complete the following steps:
Share name: Enter a name for the 3DFS share.
Protocol: Select the file sharing protocol.
Network storage server: Select the MediaAgent to use as the indexing server.
Backup set: Select the backup set to add the 3DFS share to.
Optional: Subclient: Select the subclient to add the 3DFS share to.
Click Restore time, and then select the backup to use:
Latest backup: Creates a read-only 3DFS share with the most recent backup data.
For more information about read-only 3DFS shares, see 3DFS Refresh on Backup.
Point in time: Creates a 3DFS share that reflects the data before the specified time.
For Linux MediaAgents, click Network client selection, and then enter the following information:
All clients: Allows all network clients to access the share.
Custom clients: Allows specific network clients to access the share. Enter the host name or the IP address of the network client.
You can also specify a subnet mask in CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing) notation. For example, to give network share access to all network clients that have IP addresses in 192.168.0.0 subnet, enter 192.16.0.0/16.
Click Additional options, and then enter the following information:
Copy name: Select the copy from which the data must be accessed.
If you select Default copy, the restore operation searches for the requested data in the primary copy, and automatically selects a different copy if the primary copy is not found.
Include deleted items: Includes the deleted files in the network share.
Enable ACL: Enables ACLs on 3DFS network share.
Click Add.
