Feature Release 21

DB2 DPF

Previously, the system triggered a backup operation on each node, with the number of streams defined at the level of each node. DB2 DPF backups will now use a single system view to back up all the partitions. The backup operation will mark all the partition backups with the same time stamp and will use the same number of streams for all the nodes. The number of streams defined on the catalog node will be used for all the nodes. Also, the number of node streams will be synchronized across nodes if the subclient characteristics are modified.
