Installing the MediaAgent (Self-Service Deployments)

To enable Commvault to share the remote software cache to tenant systems, install the MediaAgent package on your access node (VSA proxy).

Procedure

1. Log on to the Command Center using the platform administrator credentials.

2. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.

3. In the Actions column for the server, click the action button, and then click Add software.

4. Select the MediaAgent package, click OK, and then click Install.

5. Click OK.

Once the installation completes, the MediaAgent role appears on your server on the Roles tile.
