Upgrading Commvault Software on a Server Group

You can upgrade the Commvault software to install the most recent feature release on servers in a server group.


  1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Server groups.

    The Server groups page appears.

  2. For the server group that you want to upgrade, click the Actions button , and then select Upgrade software.

    The Confirm software upgrade dialog box appears.

  3. To reboot the servers in the server group after the upgrade, move the Reboot if required toggle key to the right.

  4. To receive an email notification about the job completion status, select the When the job completes, notify me via email check box.

  5. Click Yes.

    A message appears saying that the job started successfully.

  6. To view the details of job and its associated events for upgrade operation, click View job details.

  7. Click OK.
