Restoring Sybase Databases to the Current Location (In Place)

You can restore Sybase databases to the current location (in place).

For an in-place restore operation, the destination client and the destination instance are the same as the source client and the source instance.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

    The Instances page appears.

  2. In the row for the database instance to restore, click the Action button , and then click Restore.

    The Backup content page appears.

  3. Select the content to restore, and then click Restore.

    The Restore options dialog box appears.

    Note: To run a full server restore, select all the databases.

  4. On the In place tab, to recover the databases at a specific point in time, select the Recover databases check box.

    Selecting this check box will bring the databases in the online state after the restore operation is complete.

  5. Click Submit.
