Adding a Subclient for Informix

Updated

On this page

You can add a subclient for a set of Informix dbspaces that have the same backup requirements. For example, you can create a subclient for dbspaces that you want to back up once a week.

When you create an instance, you select a backup plan. This backup plan has a data backup schedule that gets associated to the default subclient of the new instance. You can associate a log backup schedule to the subclient manually. Any new subclient created will be associated to the same data backup schedule.
