You can restore Informix data to the current location (in place).
Procedure
From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The Instances page appears.
In the row for the database instance to restore, click the action button
, and then click Restore.
The Backup content page appears.
To perform restore from a secondary copy, from the Restore from default copy box, select a copy.
Click Restore.
The Restore options dialog box appears.
On the In place tab, complete the following steps:
Under Restore database, select the data you want to restore:
To restore the physical data, select the Physical check box.
To restore the logical data, select the Logical check box.
To restore both the physical and logical data, select both the Physical and Logical check boxes.
To restore the emergency boot file (ixbar), oncfg and ONCONFIG files, select the Restore config files check box.
Under Restore options, select the time to restore data from:
To restore data from the most recent backup, select Most recent backup.
To restore data from a specific date and time, select Point in time, and then specify the time.
To restore data up to a specific logical log, select Up to logical log, and then specify the logical log number.
You can view the last log number in the ixbar or bar_act.log files.
Click Submit.
