Replicating to Multiple Destination Sites

Updated

You can use a VM group to configure a replication operation to copy data to multiple destination sites.

After you create a recovery group, you can configure additional destination sites using the VM group that was created automatically when you created the recovery group. The VM group name is the same as the recovery group name.

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Virtualization.

    The Virtual machines page appears.

  2. On the VM groups tab, click the VM group with the same name as the recovery group.

  3. Under Actions, click the Actions button , and then select Configure recovery.

The Configure recovery group wizard appears.

  4. On the Content tab, specify the VMs from the recovery group that you want to replicate to an additional destination site.

    • In the Name box, enter a name for the group.

    • From the Select VMs list, select the VMs, and then click Next.

  5. On the Target tab, specify the access node and settings for the destination site.

    • From the Recovery target list, select a hypervisor.
