Creating a Custom Dashboard on the Command Center

You can create a new custom dashboard by cloning a default dashboard and then adding, rearranging, or deleting tiles. You can edit or grant permission to other users to view any dashboard that you create.

Only CommCell administrators have permission to create, edit, and share custom dashboards in the Command Center.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, click Dashboard.

    The dashboard appears.

  2. At the upper-right area of the page, from the list, select a default dashboard.

    The dashboard appears.

  3. At the upper-right area of the page, click the Menu button, and then select Clone.

    The Clone dialog box appears.

  4. In the Dashboard name box, enter a descriptive name for the dashboard, and then click OK.

    The edit view appears.

  5. Configure the dashboard according to your requirements:

    • To change the title of the dashboard, in the upper-left area of the page, in the box, enter a different title.

    • To change the layout or contents of the dashboard, perform any of the following actions:

      Goal

      Perform action

      Add a tile

      From the Drag and drop tiles pane, drag a tile on to the dashboard.

      Delete a tile

      In the upper-right corner of a tile, click Remove tile.

      Move a tile

      Hover over a tile until the hand icon appears, and then drag the tile to a different location on the dashboard.

      Resize a tile

      Hover over the lower-right corner of a tile until the sizing handles appear, and then drag the corner or sides of the tile to change its size.

      Each tile displays predefined content. You cannot change the content of the tiles.

  6. At the upper-right area of the page, click Save.

The edit view closes and the dashboard appears in the list of dashboards.
