Verify that the access nodes for OneDrive for Business meet the guidelines. An access node is a virtual machine, a cloud instance, or a physical server that runs backups and other operations.
Note: For high availability (which is recommended for the first full backup), use 2 or more access nodes and extra Azure apps.
Data backed up each day
CPU or vCPU for the access nodes
RAM for the access nodes
Streams per access node
Important: The number of streams must always be greater than the number of Azure apps in your environment.
The guidelines are based on the following assumption:
The average user account size is 10 GB.
Job Results Folder Size
With an average user account size of 10 GB, and a backup job running in 10 streams, the job results folder can grow to a maximum of 500 GB.
With n number of parallel backup jobs running, the job results folder can grow to a size of n*500 GB.
