When you add the file server for MEDITECH, the content that you specify is included in the default subclient that is automatically created. You can add additional subclients for content that has different backup requirements.
When you configure a subclient, specify the content by providing the connection details to the MEDITECH MBI listener.
Use one user-defined subclient for all MEDITECH-dependent systems.
Procedure
From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.
The File servers page appears.
Click the file server.
The file server page appears.
Under Subclients, from the Backup sets list, select a backup set that you want to add the subclient to.
Click Add subclient.
The Add subclient dialog box appears.
Enter the following information:
Name: Enter a name for the subclient.
Backup set: Select the backup set that you want to add the subclient to.
Plan: Select the server plan to use for the subclient, and then specify which content you want to back up.
System name: Enter a unique name (such as "EMR") to identify the MEDITECH module that you want to back up.
Listener FQDN/IP: Enter the transaction listener IP address for the MEDITECH module host.
Listener port: Enter the port that you use to access the MEDITECH MBI listener.
The default listener port is 2987.
User name and Password: Enter the MEDITECH MBF credentials.
MBF timeout: Enter the timeout value (in seconds).
The default timeout value is 90 seconds.
In the Snapshot management area, from the Engines list, select the snapshot engine to use for the subclient.
In the Backup process settings area, enter the following information:
Pre-backup process: Enter the path to the batch file.
Post-backup process: Enter the path to the batch file.
Click OK.
