If a missing laptop is recovered, you can mark the laptop as found. Reporting a laptop as found restarts backup operations and disables the option to securely erase the contents of the laptop.
From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Laptops.
The Laptops page appears.
In the Name column, click the laptop that was recovered.
The laptop properties page appears.
In the upper-right corner of the page, click Mark laptop found.
