Disabling Web Authenticator for Two-Factor Authentication

To disable web authenticator verification for two-factor authentication (which is a form of multi-factor authentication), you can use the DisableSecurityKeyAuthentication additional setting. By default, when you enable two-factor authentication, web authenticator verification is also enabled automatically.

After you disable web authenticator verification, users must use PIN verification to log on to CommCell applications.

Procedure

  • To the CommServe computer, add the additional setting as shown in the following table.
