To verify that Active Directory is set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.
Back Up Active Directory
From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Applications > Active Directory.
The Active Directory page appears.
In the row for the app, click the action button
, and then click Back up.
The Select backup level dialog box appears.
Click OK.
Restore Active Directory
From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Applications > Active Directory.
The Active Directory page appears.
In the row for the app, click the action button
, and then click Restore.
The Backup content page appears.
In the upper-left area of the page, from the default list, select an instance to view the objects.
Select an object.
Click Restore.
The Restore dialog box appears.
Click Submit.
