Adding UI Tags to Reports

You can tag a report with tags, to organize reports into categories that help users find reports.

You can group reports based on the subcategories that are used in the Commvault Store. Reports can belong to multiple groups. Reports that are not tagged are in the Untagged group.


  1. On the Web Console, click Reports.

    The Reports page appears.

  2. Create a new report, or open an existing report:

    • To create a new report, from the navigation pane, click Reports, and then click New Report.

    • To open an existing report and add a new tag to it, from the navigation pane, click Reports, and then on the file menu , click Edit.

    The Report Builder page appears.

  3. On the Report tab, in the Name box, type a name for the report, and in the Description box, type a short description of the report.

  4. To add UI tags, click add button beside UI Tags.

  5. From the UI Tags list, select an existing tag or add a new tag.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Click Deploy.


The tag category is added to the report, and the report appears under the category that you specified.
