Adding an Additional Server Interactively

You can interactively install software to add an additional server to your Commvault solutions to replace an existing server or to help reduce the load on existing servers. The interactive installation is used to download the software package without any user inputs.


  1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.

    The Servers page appears.

  2. In the upper-right, click Add file server.

    The Add Server dialog box appears.

  3. At the bottom of the dialog box, click the link in the To install the software interactively, click here text.

    The Download packages page appears.

  4. In the row for the platform that you want to download, under Action column, click Download.
