Add an Access Node for Azure Cosmos DB

Add a Windows or Linux file server, and install the Virtual Server and Cloud Apps packages.

Before You Begin

You need the following information:

• Host name

• User name and password

• OS type

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.

   The Servers page appears.

2. In the upper-right area of the page, click Add server.

   The Add server dialog box appears.

3. Click Select this method to install software packages on your computer.

4. Enter the necessary information.

5. From the Select packages list, select Virtual Server and Cloud Apps, and then click OK.

6. Click Install.
