To search the contents of documents from OneDrive for Business accounts, in Commvault search environments such as Compliance Search, you must content index the documents and files.
With basic indexing, you can search on the attributes of an item, such as file name, folder name, and modified time. By default, the contents from OneDrive for Business accounts are not indexed. This level of indexing is achieved by running a backup job not a content indexing job.
Advanced Content Indexing
With advanced content indexing, you can do the following:
Search on the contents of files.
Search on the attributes of an item, such as file name, folder name, and modified time.
