You can configure the time of day that you want to initiate scheduled backup jobs for servers belonging to a company. However, the job starts according to the local time zone of each server in the company. For example, if you set the job start time as 10 AM for a company with servers in North America and Australia, then the backup jobs will start at 10 AM EST for the servers in North America and at 10 AM AEST for the servers in Australia.
If the job start time that you set is not within the backup window or the full backup window for the associated plan of a company server, then the software considers the next available time within the window as the start time for backup jobs.
If you do not specify a job start time, then the software considers the RPO (Recovery Point Objective) settings of a plan that a company server is associated with.
