You can give end users access to their messages in the Web Console using a Java-enabled browser on any remote computer. End users can browse and download messages using the Web Console, in a Commvault environment.
Before You Begin
Backup operations must have run on the mailbox.
You must add domain controllers. For more information see, Adding Domain Controllers.
Procedure
From the navigation pane, go to Manage>Security.
The Security page appears.
Click Roles.
The Roles page appears.
Click Add Role.
The Add role dialog box appears.
In the Name box, enter a name for the role.
Select the End User Access permission.
Click Add.
The role page appears.
From the navigation pane, go to Manage>Security.
The Security page appears.
Click User groups.
The User groups page appears.
A the top right of the page, click Add user group.
The Add user group dialog box appears.
Select the Local group type, enter a Group name, and then click Save.
The user group page appears.
In the Associated entities tab, click Add association.
The Add association dialog box appears.
Select the Role entity type, select the role created in step 4, and then click Add.
Click Save.
From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Applications > Exchange.
The Exchange page appears.
In the Name column, click the app.
The App page appears.
On the Configuration tab, in the Security section, click Edit.
The Security dialog box appears.
Enter the user group from step 11,enter the role from step 4, and then click Add.
Click Save.
