Mounting Snapshots of a Storage Array

To access the data backed up in the snapshot, you need to mount the snapshot.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.

   The Infrastructure page appears.

2. Click the Arrays tile.

   The Arrays page appears.

3. In the Actions column, click the action button , and then click List snapshots.

   The Snapshots created during IntelliSnap operation page appears.

4. Select the snapshot that you want to mount.

   Tip: To select multiple snapshots, hold <Shift> key, and then select the snapshots to be mounted.

5. In the upper-right area of the page, click Mount.

   The Mount snapshot dialog box appears.

6. In the Destination client box, type the destination client.

7. In the Destination Path box, type the share name for the agent.

   Note: For Nutanix Files CIFS shares, the share name is not required.

8. Click Submit.

Result

The mount operation creates a read-only copy of the snapshot.
