Use a mobile app or the desktop application to generate a PIN if you do not want to receive a PIN through email.
Before You Begin
A mobile app or the desktop application must be set up:
To set up a mobile app to generate the unique six-digit PIN, see PIN Generating Mobile Apps.
To set up a desktop application to generate the unique six-digit PIN, see CommVault Token Desktop.
Procedure
Mobile Application
Open the mobile application.
All of the accounts registered with the application are listed along with the PIN for each.
Use the PIN associated with the account you are using to log on.
This is a one time PIN valid for the next 30 seconds.
Desktop Application
Open the CommVault Token application by clicking on the authenticator.jar file.
The default account appears on the main page of the application along with the PIN for that account.
This is a one time PIN valid for the next 30 seconds.
If you need a PIN for another account, click Switch Account, select the account, and then click Choose Default.
The selected account appears on the main page of the application along with the PIN for that account.
This is a one time PIN valid for the next 30 seconds.
