You can perform failover and failback operations for failover groups or for specific VMs.
Before You Begin
For VMware destination sites:
To perform failover, test boot, and failback operations for VMware destination sites, VMware tools must be installed on the source VMs before replicating the VMs.
For replicated VMs using source snapshots, failback operations are supported only when replication is configured in the Command Center.
Procedure
From the navigation pane, go to Disaster recovery > Replication.
The Replication groups page appears.
On the Failover groups tab, under Name, click a failover group.
The failover group properties page appears.
At the upper-right area of the page, click the action
button and then select an action to perform on the group:Delete (all destination sites)
Planned failover (all destination sites)
Test failover (AWS, Azure, and VMware destination sites)
View test failover VMs (AWS, Azure and VMware destination sites)
Unplanned failover (all destination sites)
Depending on the status of each machine, some failover options might not be completed on all VMs.
From the page for a failover group, you can choose failover or failback operations for specific VMs.
The options that are available depend on the current status of the machine. For example, you can request a failback for a machine that has failed over.
From the Replication monitor page, you can choose failover or failback operations for specific VMs.
