Sharing Documents on Cloud Services

Customers and Commvault employees can share documents with each other using the Cloud Documents feature on the CommCell and CommCell Group dashboards.

When you create a CommCell Group or register a CommCell environment, an associated file share is created in the My Data application on the Cloud Services website. You can access the file share from the CommCell or CommCell Group dashboard, and then upload any type of file.


  1. Log on to the Cloud Services Portal, and then click CommCell Dashboard.

  2. Click File > Cloud Documents.

    The CommCell or CommCell Group file share appears.

  3. Click Upload, and then select the file you want to share.

  4. To create a folder on the file share, click Create Folder.

    1. Enter a folder name.

    2. Click Create Folder.
